We are in a medium-sized, pleasant Italian town, at the local high school. Twins Marco and Andrea also go there. Two boys who are a little different at first glance. As we start to get to know them better, we find that this seemingly ordinary series about young people in high school is a surprisingly revealing study of characters and gender fluidity. But not only that. Prisma is one of the few coming-of-age series that gets everything right. The atmosphere is suffocating with its everydayness by day, dreamy by night or urgent with the sense that everything is on the line right now. A story that ingeniously switches between timelines. The characters are vivid, realistic, full of contradictions. The screenwriter of SKAM Italia, Ludovico Bessegato, has managed a series that could easily become cult.
