The winner of the last Series Mania festival in the Best Foreign Title category. The gripping psychological thriller begins in a remote corner of Sweden, where the daughter and son of the owners of feuding farms become closer on family farmland, with generational conflict simmering in one of the farms. At the same time, we are introduced to an obsessive amateur sleuth looking for missing people and soon begin to suspect what has actually happened here. The archetypal story based on true events does not fascinate with the possibility of guessing the killer. The adaptation of a documentary book by a Swedish journalist instead offers an extremely suspenseful character study with great performances and a gripping atmosphere.
