Q&A’s after the screening with screenwriters Wilhelm Behrman and Niklas Rockström.
A realistically looking nightmare of a young Swedish woman trapped with her toddler in Islamic State-controlled territory. The policewoman, whom Pervin asks for help, is having her own nightmare. Meanwhile, teenagers Sulle, Kerima and Myriam are eager to get to the very place the young mother wants to escape from – because of extremist propaganda that finds its way to each of the girls in a different way. This thriller with social drama elements, one of the most successful European series of recent years, is the brainchild of former journalist and psychologist Wilhelm Behrman and screenwriter Niklas Rockström, who were inspired by a newspaper article about British teenagers who fled to the Middle East. Both will be presenting their masterclass and discussing with the audience at the Serial Killer festival.
