Everything always works out for Filip Kalina. He is one of those ambitious medical students who impress some and are hated by others. He is in his fourth year and already preparing for life as a future elite neurosurgeon. All signs point to him being the number one. But cancer does not choose, and the tumour that Filip, after hours of study, is able to describe perfectly and even suggest a treatment for, is found inside his own head. Suddenly he is the one listening to a doctor suggesting a course of treatment. What will everything in his life have to change now? This dynamically shot comedy with great acting performances is a remake of the successful Emmy Award-winning Belgian series of the same name. The Czech version of Sense of Tumour not only does not lag behind the Belgian original, but works so well in the local context that it is easy to declare it one of the best Czech series of recent times.
