Pieter Van Huyck
Head of Scripted at De Mensen , Belgium

Since 2014, Pieter has been head of scripted at De Mensen, the single biggest production company in Belgium. He started heading the team that is responsible for the creation and production of all the movies and television series for De Mensen. He started his career as a freelance journalist and documentary maker, both for Belgium’s national broadcast station and several production companies. As creative director he worked on the production of a range of factual and entertainment programs for Flemish and Dutch television stations. Pieter shot the third season of the successful crime series, Professor T, which got a remake in France, Germany, Czech Republic and a UK one on the way. The latest projects of De Mensen include titles such as Undercover, Fiskepark, the feature film Facades, and the upcoming heist drama The Bank Hacker. Other projects that Pieter realized or will be realizing shortly with his team; Ferry, Undercover 3, 3Hz, Lost Luggage and Diamonds.
