Urs Dillier lives in Basel, Switzerland. After training as a typesetter and typographer, he had his own graphic design studio with a focus on book design. For several years, he has been intensively involved with film and series. His first steps into the world of series were with ‘Dallas’ and ‘Twin Peaks’. Later he concentrated on Nordic series. For the last two years, he has been working at the series festival Basel, the first festival in Switzerland that exclusively presents series. The festival is focused on Eastern Europe and the Balkan countries. It offers a call for the ‘Cliffhanger’ competition and the opportunity to reflect and talk about series as well.
