Esther has a great fiancé and a beautiful engagement. It seems like the young woman adopted as a child fits into the upper-class milieu of Montréal, Canada as easily as if she had always lived there. But in reality she was born far away. The heroine begins to wonder where her roots are when her planned future proves impossible. The Canadian series Little Bird explores a past that is mostly kept quiet. A past that holds a frighteningly different future for different people.
