The creators of this original, funny and semi-documentary comedy play themselves – 20-year-old girls from Barcelona who do whatever they want. It was created at the end of the pandemic, when, according to the authors’ memories, they tried to spend as much time as possible at parties, fearing that there would be another lockdown. “It seemed to us then that everyone around us was finding their place in the world. Only the two of us didn’t see any opportunities, and everyone around us seemed like assholes,” say Berta Prieto and Belén Barenys in a video on which Autodefensa is based. The series about two young feminists, who make their own rules for life as they go along, contains ten episodes in total, each filmed in a different style. Winner of the best short series award of the influential French festival Series Mania.
