It is the year 1973, and Brotherus Tapani, the son of a Finnish diplomat whose life has been a series of golf games and parties so far, finds himself ambassador to Chile. The country is unstable and it does not take long before prominent residents start climbing the walls of the elegant diplomatic residence to beg him for sanctuary. Finnish policy is not to help refugees, but Brotherus cannot bear to stand by and watch the carnage after Pinochet’s coup. A unique Finnish series about real people and events.
