What is it like to be removed from power after ten years? Does anyone still recognise you on the street? Will anyone be interested in your stories and jokes? And how do your loved ones experience your career? Does the fact that the husband, father or father-in-law is a former prime minister enter their lives? Did they enjoy his jokes before? And do they now? Or does it annoy them that he cannot even make coffee? This Slovak family comedy about everyday politics and generational clash, directed by Jan Hřebejk, is the first and, for a long time, the last Slovak original from HBO, brought by SkyShowtime after HBO’s departure from Europe. For the first time in a long time, the former Slovak prime minister, his wife and three daughters bring a family feel to the Central European detective series-dominated scene.
