Tomáš Hruška

Tomáš is a screenwriter, director and producer. As a creative producer, he was involved in the successful true crime series The Markovič Metod: Hojer for the Czech VOD platform VOYO. He is currently working on the second season of this series and developing other promising projects.

Tomáš studied scriptwriting and dramaturgy at Prague FAMU. During his studies, he made several short films and a medium-length sci-fi comedy The Inseminator. After graduation, he worked as a copywriter and director on a number of commercial project orders. For several years Tpmáš also worked as a lecturer in the Free Cinema educational project and he organized film courses for the public. He also lectured screenwriting and direction at the universities in Pilsen and Ústí nad Labem. As a producer, Tomáš participated in the short film The Last Lesson by Italian director Francesco Borchi and the co-production film The Lions Heading to Venice by Albanian director Jonid Jorgjia.
