Alexandre Piel

Alexandre’s experience in the television industry dates back to 1997. At the time, he joined the international sales team of France Télévisions Distribution in charge of the English and Spanish-speaking territories, then in charge of acquisitions and pre-financing.

In 2006, Alexandre joined Marathon Group via Télé Images International as Head of International Co-productions, before the company became Zodiak Rights. Following the Zodiak Group reorganization in 2011, he was entrusted with all fiction and management of the Paris sales team while continuing the development of prestigious acquisitions in this area, as SVP Sales & Acquisitions.

Alexandre joined ARTE’s Fiction unit in September 2013, as Deputy Head of Drama, in charge of international acquisitions and co-productions. Since 2023, he co-pilots Arte France fiction unit alongside Agnès Olier, Head of Drama.
