Darja is a screenwriter, director, and script consultant. She focuses on themes related to intimacy, coming-of-age narratives and the representation of female heroines in the audiovisual space. 

She is the co-writer of No Big Deal (Vlastně se nic nestalo), a dramedy series for Czech Television about OnlyFans and intimacy in the digital age, directed by Jan Vejnar. She has co-written and directed several student shorts, currently finishing Braids, an intimate drama about Majda who must overcome her fear of the dark. 

She is developing her feature debut Levels about vaginismus and challenges connected to navigating one’s sexual identity.
