Both Žofie and Andrea create paid content on adult platforms, but otherwise, they couldn’t be more different: while Žofie is experimenting with this platform in an attempt to rebuild her damaged self-esteem after her break-up with Roman, Andrea is yearning for financial freedom, while moving further and further away from her original goal of making a serious living as a model. For Žofia, it is a kind of emancipation tool, but for the once famous Andrea, her financial situation and the demands of her fans are driving her deeper into the darker waters of sexluencing.
With satirical and comedic elements, director Jan Vejnar’s drama (Czech Lion for Best Director in 2023 for She Came at Night) explores the theme of young adults’ intimate lives under the influence of the massive presence of communication platforms. No Big Deal (Vlastně se nic nestalo) will be released on iVysílání on September 29th and at TV Days, it will be presented by screenwriter Darja Míková, director Jan Vejnar and producer Jakub Mahler.
