Ioana Bogdana
Writer & Producer , Romania

Ioana is a Romanian writer and producer based in Berlin, Germany. She co-wrote and produced the comedy series In the City (2022) for the CEE VoD platform VOYO.  The short films she produced have been selected for festivals such as Shanghai IFF, Tallinn Black Nights, BFI London Film Festival, Sarajevo IFF, and Thessaloniki IFF. 

Between 2021 and 2025, she collaborated with Ada Solomon’s company microFILM, where she also took part in training programmes including MIDPOINT Series Launch, Cinelink Producers‘ Lab, Sarajevo Talents’ Producers Summit, and WEMW’s The On Demand Ecosystem. 

She is currently developing a feature fiction, a short film as a creative producer, and a limited series as a writer/producer. 

Ioana holds a BA degree in film and television from the University of the Arts London.
