Barbora is an award-winning screenwriter. Her debut script Špina (Filthy, dir. Tereza Nvotová) premiered at IFF Rotterdam, won the Czech Film Critics’ Award for Best Film 2017, and earned Czech Lion & Critics’ nods. 

She co-wrote Svetlonoc (Nightsiren, 2022), which won Locarno’s top prize and the Méliès d’Argent at Sitges; Best Screenplay, Quito.
