Aleksandra Chmielewska

Aleksandra is a writer and creative producer from Warsaw, Poland. She graduated from the Wajda School, the MIDPOINT Writers’ Room, screenwriting courses at the StoryLab Pro and the Documentary and Feature Film Studios in Warsaw. 

She was a head writer and creative producer of Glitter as well as story editor of Cracow Monsters, both Netflix original drama series premiered in 2022. Currently, Aleksandra is working on two concepts of series projects and a feature length film script in cooperation with Telemark, a Warsaw based boutique production company. 

She recently wrote and directed a short fiction film (right now in postproduction), which inspired the series concept submitted to the MIDPOINT Smash Cut program. All her projects always delve into unobvious characters and premises providing space for surprising viewers’ experiences.
