Carrie is an award-winning film producer whose credits include more than three dozen films and cable television productions. Earlier this year she won the Directors Guild of America Award as co-producer and unit production manager of the Fishes episode in Season Two of The Bear (2023), the hit FX dark comedy show streaming on Hulu acclaimed by the Guardian and the Economist newspapers in the United Kingdom as the best television show of the last two years. She also was nominated for the DGA Award as co-producer and unit production manager on the show’s first season (2022). She recently completed the show’s third season as producer and unit production manager, the same roles she is serving for Season Four.
Previously she was co-producer and unit production manager of The Nanny (2022) and Netflix’s Tiny Pretty Things (2020) and executive producer/upm on Beats (2019), a Netflix hip-hop film starring Anthony Anderson. She also was unit production manager on SHOWTIME’s hit comedy series Work in Progress (2021) and HBO’s Lovecraft Country (2020).
Carrie was unit production manager on Hala (2019), an Overbrook Entertainment film that premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and was executive producer and unit production manager on Southside with You (2016), a critically acclaimed feature film about the first date between President and First Lady Barack and Michelle Obama that also premiered at Sundance. Most recently, she was executive producer and unit production manager on We Grown Now (2023), winner of the Changemaker Award at the Toronto International Film Festival.
Carrie was co-producer on the indie classic The Last Rites of Joe May (2011), starring Dennis Farina and Gary Cole, that premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, and served in the same roles in the Amazon-Sony sci-fi thriller series Electric Dreams (2018) based on the futuristic short stories of Philip K. Dick.
A member of the Steppenwolf Films company in Chicago, Carrie’s credits also include Of Boys and Men (2008), starring Robert Townsend and Angela Bassett; Dhoom 3 (2013), the Bollywood blockbuster starring Aamir Khan; Diminished Capacity (2008), starring Alan Alda and Matthew Broderick; and American Fable (2016).
