Viktorie Novotná

Viktorie started out working on music videos. She is a third-year student in the Department of Directing at FAMU. Her films deal with the horror genre and the theme of growing up. 

Her idea for her debut screenplay was supported by the Czech Film Fund and she is currently working on its development. Together with director Adina Šulcová, Viktorie is currently working on a mini-series focusing on Generation Z for Czech Television’s streaming platform iVysílání.

Their short film Spiknutí holčičích hoven (Girls Full of Shit Conspiracy) was nominated for the Czech Film Critics’ Award for Best Short Film in 2023.
