Vladimir Tagic

Vladimir was born in 1986 in Belgrade, Serbia. He earned a Master’s Degree at the Faculty of Drama Arts. His short film Emergency Exit premiered at the prestigious Clermont Ferrand Festival in France in 2015. and was shown at the Cannes Film Festival in 2017 as part of the Acid Trip program. The movie was awarded in Munich for the best screenplay.

In 2018, together with Goran Stankovic, Vladimir was the creator, screenwriter and director of the drama series Morning Changes Everything for the Serbian National Broadcaster RTS, for which he directed 16 episodes. In 2020, for the same broadcaster, he co-wrote and directed 5 episodes of the TV series Mon and Dad Are Playing War Games.

He directed 5 episodes of the TV series Children of Evil (2023) which premiered on HBO MAX. A second collaboration with Goran Stankovic is the TV series Operation Sabre about the assassination of Serbian Prime Minister Zoran Đinđić. The title had a premiere at Canneseries where it won an award for best acting of the whole ensemble.

Vladimir is also the co-writer and director of his first feature film Yugo Florida. The project is now in postproduction.
